Brilliantly written by Gloira Vanderbilt, "The Memory Book of Starr Faithfull" is based upon a real story of a young woman who was found dead at age 25. Starr had written her own "Memory Book" which was found years later after having been supposedly destroyed. Vanderbilt takes the basis of the story and fleshes it out using her own vivid imagination and superb writting.
