Brief Summary: erotica anthology with three stories all taking place in Louisiana. All are m/f erotica.

What I thought: Ironically, I bought this book for the Sydney Croft story (I like the ACRO books) and that is the only story I disliked. Maybe the heavy paranormal (which I usually like) just didn't fit in with the other 2 "real life" stories, or maybe it was just not very good, but either way it did nothing for me. I disliked both the h/h enough half way through to just skim the rest. Brenna struck me as pathetic and desperate and Hex didn't impress me at all. I am glad I tried out the other two stories, though, cuz those were definitely worth a read!

The Eden Bradley story dealt with a lot of religious guilt issues and a tattoo fetish. The characters (Tristan and Sophie) were well-developed for a short story and the sex was HOT. I will definitely be reading more by Eden Bradley.

The Stephanie Tyler story (Bat and Catie) was about an artist who inherited a bar that needed "cleaning up". Enter Bat. I liked both the hero and the heroine enough to care about their story. Very steamy. Made me want to take up art ;-)

This book is absolutely worth a credit. I don't resent paying full price for it despite my disappointment in Sydney Croft. Also, I had no problem picking up on any of the stories despite not having read any of the authors (except Sydney Croft).
