When Kurt Cobain killed himself in 1994, it was a big deal. I really didn't know much more about him. Reading about his life, Kurt seems to have been a very troubled individual. From what I've read about Courtney Love, she couldn't have helped him because she was/is a hot mess herself. I remember after Kurt's death, there were some trying to blame his death on Courtney. However, it is hard to think that way when she was in LA and he was in Seattle (with a gun).

After going to listen to a couple of the songs mentioned in this bio, I recognized that Nirvana was a major force in music. After listening, I cannot imagine why. Kurt's not a particularly good singer and the music is very dissonant (sorry, I'm too old for this type of music).

I was surprised that nothing was said about the daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. I read elsewhere that she is a visual artist and model and about 28-years old. I was also surprised that nothing more was said about the band. Is it still working? Did they get a new frontman? Do they still tour? Did Courtney Love keep her child? It was all over the papers that she was a committed druggie and I wondered if the authorities took the child from her. There were lots of things I wondered about after reading this. On another site, I read that Frances owns the rights to her father's likeness, etc.
