I found Clarissa really annoying. She did some really dumb things like missing an appointment with Jasper when she is dependent on him to marry her or taking her brother to play in the park knowing their evil Uncle will be looking for them. Not to mention that meant everyone now knew she had an unnatuaral interest in the brat she rescued.

But I did adore Jasper. He was a lot of fun but a little too patient.

A mediocre book.
