I enjoyed this book as Uhura and Chekov are the main characters. Taking place early in Chekov's assignment to Enterprise, it conveys Chekov's feeling of someone just out of the academy, the FNG serving aboard the already near-legendary Enterprise.

Uhura is the other main character focus, and as in Uhura's Song, she carries the story well. It is great to read books that give a different view of the characters we all know, expanding their lives and interactions.
