I really liked the sarcasm and cynical sense of humor of the main character. I chuckled out loud more than once (and got a strong craving for bagels with cream cheese and bacon).

However, I was not in the least interested or involved in the "mystery". It didn't grab me, didn't keep my attention, and frankly didn't make me care enough to find out whodunit.

I quit the book at the 3/4 mark.
