This is a new edition of Lippman's first book in the Tess mystery series. It is the first of this series that I have read. It is a good mystery, which kept me guessing until the end. I appreciate that it is not violent, profane, or explicit. Tess is her own person, not a stereotypical character. I look forward to reading later books, as Lippman hones her writing style.
