Although this is the second installment of the series, it does well enough as a standalone. The back cover description of the book is horrible (I know this is based on a paranormal dating agency but really?).

Basically you have Sarah who has come out as a turned werewolf and now the local wolf pack wants her for their own. Of course after surviving an abusive relationship with the were who forced her turning, she isn't really ready to jump back into the fray. In comes Ramsey, an intimidating were bear, acting as Sarah's mate in an attempt to get the wolves to back off. Not only do they have to deal with a persistent wolf pack but they also have to work to overcome Sarah's fears and low self-esteem.

You would think the book would be sappy, but it's not. It is rather light given the subject matter. The ending can be rather fairytale but I liked it.

On a side note, really appreciate that Sims actually dealt with inexperience in the bedroom rather them having virgins magically be good in bed the first time around.

Good read. Not exactly funny but cute.
