This book covers a subject that is tragic, gruesome and terrifying, not only because of the actual events themselves but because, as the blurb says - it can happen anywhere! Abduction, molestation and murder of very young children is not an easy topic to read about and I almost quit around page 80, but then I pushed on and I'm actually glad that I did.

These authors cover the subject matter in a no nonsense way and it is very realistic. The deaths of these children, especially the last one, have such far reaching effects but one can see how all of this can truly develop. Initially, I found the writing style hard to grasp but as the book progresses the writing flows much better. One gets a good feel for all of the main characters and how they deal with this issue.

Not for the faint hearted but a good book nonetheless.
