I look for chapter books to read out loud to my 9 and 7 year old. It's challenging to find something for a boy and girl, of different ages. They love this series. The charming and plucky princess is the spitting image of my little girl, and you are with her every step of the way. My kids loved these books. The magic, the intrigue, the castle that bends to the little girls (and family's) needs. Great tale.
