This was one of the early Dirk Pitt adventures and it was great fun. Some of the more recent Cussler stories such as "Lost Empire" pale in comparison. Cyclops had it all - a treasure hunt story, a hidden colony on the moon, a secret Russian station on an island off Cuba, and a nasty Russian plot to kill Castro and take over Cuba. Although this story was definitely dated (the Russians are still the bad guys), this was a non-stop action adventurer. I really enjoyed it!
