Not my favorite Jack Daniels book, but still, it was entertaining. What I liked was the interaction of the characters (Jack, Herb, and Harry) and the twists and turns of the storyline. What I didn't like was how unrealistically dumb Jack is in taking Harry's fiance (a civilian) around with her on her police duties. The real Jack that we've all come to know and love would never do that. I've already gotten the next book, so I will have to see if Konrath keeps Jack like this or if he goes back to how she normally is.
