An unique picture book for the whole family. This is the true story of a beloved pet tortoise who wandered away and was lost for days. The illustrations are wonderful, colorful, true to life. Tortoise facts are dotted throughout. A sort of tortoise angel, from American Indian myth, makes a cameo appearance.
