I am actually re-reading this book in this anthology. I had read them as a teenager in the late 90's and loved them. DO NOT try to compare this vampre book to any Twilight stuff or anything close to that, that is NOT what you will find here at all. Chrisopher Pike was a master of teen horror back in the day and I still have respect for his works. This book is mostly for High School Seniors and above as the stuff that goes on is rather explicit (not the sex, but the killing).

Sita is a 5000 year old vampire, thought to be the last of her kind... That is until she discovers that her creator is on the hunt for her again. She will stop at nothing to stay away from this monster...
