I was really happy to be back to Elena. I really love this group of werewolves. When I read the description on the back cover, though, I was worried about the portal - I thought that Elena might go through it and be stuck in 19th century England without the others. Fortunately, that didn't happen and I got to spend the whole book with the whole group. I'm also really starting to like Jaime (which is good since the next book is hers).
