Imagine a Sarah McCarty western on steroids and you're halfway to understanding what this book is like. Rose is right, it's almost a hoot because it's so way over the top you wouldn't believe it. Mind you, it's not supposed to be funny (and some things were distinctly *not* funny), but there were times when I just couldn't help but laugh. Keep in mind that at just under 500 pages, this is a long book with lots...and lots...and lots of heat. To be honest, by the end I was skimming the sex scenes because by that point it was like enough already - we get it! So, if you're not in the least bit faint of heart, grab this book - it's definitely worth a credit.
