Jack Blackledge wrote sports and political columns, and no way was he going to take on an intern, much less a woman intern. He had enough of being chased by every woman he met, and receiving calls from women his mother sent his way. He loudly proclaimed to all who would listen that he was going to marry a rich woman who could support him. Colleen Brady was excited to begin her new job at the paper, until she met Jack with his sexist, arrogant attitude. And, when she heard his adamant stand on marrying a rich woman, she was determined that he would never know about her wealthy family, nor her inheritance. But attraction was a strange thing.
