Defintely engaging and fun to read, keeps you wondering when you'll have time to sit back down and finish this 564-page book.
Three strong characters with intertwining stories look for happiness and success in the 90s in Ireland. This book captured the career world of magazines in the 90s in a pop culture background of comedy clubs and throws in modern issues such as homelessness and the growing economic success of Ireland. But, it's not a weighty read, it's just edgy enough to keep it realistic.
There's a couple of love stories going on here, with some torrid affairs to make it interesting, but its not just another romance novel.
I'll be looking for something else from this author.
