This is a typical book of Albom's.. parts of it brought tears to my eyes....only because I wish I could have another day with my Mother. In the beginning the main character is at his lowest, attempts suicide, fails.....
His mother who has been dead for several years shows up....for one more day. The character tries to make up for how he wronged her in the past and wrongs others as a result.
Bottom line of the book: it tries to teach you to treasure the time you have with loved ones and make the most of that time...so you don't have to wish for one more day so you can redeem yourself.
