It has been a while since I have read a book that made me stop, think, and just relish the reading. Oh, and made me get the tissue. This was the book.

To put it simply, this is the tale of Enzo, the dog, who was adopted by a family. The family includes Denny, Eve, and little Zoe. Denny, a race car driver, is Enzo's primary "person" and caretaker.

Life through the eyes of Enzo is funny, sad, scary, and ultimately rewarding. There are several plot twists in the novel and I don't want to give them away (although, I think the book would have been just fine without one of the major ones).

You do not need to like racing or even like dogs to enjoy this touching, absorbing, amazing book. If I ever get a dog, I want one just like Enzo. Two barks! (You will know what that means if you read it!)
