As an avid collector of Mary Engelbreit, I could not resist her newest Christmas offering for 2013, This book differs from earlier Christmas themed works, however, by concentrating on the more spiritual and religious themes of the holiday. Beautiful illustrations accompany such things as the birth of Jesus as found in the book of Luke, the lyrics to that beloved song, Friendly Beasts, and several other favorite songs as well as quotes and poems from well known authors. It's a slim volume and perfect on the coffee table or end table for casual perusal as well as sharing with your favorite children. I know I will enjoy it over and over again each year.
