Does this book make a good LIGHT READ:

For Trekkies, YES
For Anyone Else, NO (course I doubt any one else would even consider it, so not an issue)
--- If you have a crush on Spock like I do, you won't really get much of a buzz off of the book since the focus is more about Sarek and Amanda, but you will get lots of Vulcan Scenes and there is even a little romance between a Female Vulcan and a Male Human. Which is interesting and was sweet.

Does this book make a good MYSTERY:

(snort-snicker-laugh) No!--- Considering there are only three NON-Canon Star Trek characters in the book "narrowing the suspects down" wasn't hard at all. And not to give too much away but... it was SO OBVIOUS within the first three chapters. Let's just say I knew who did it BEFORE it was done!

Does this book make a good CONVERSATION STARTER:

Oh Yeah!--- The book caption alone was hilarious enough to make everyone who saw me reading it laugh: "Captain Kirk Becomes and Interplanetary Detective" I mean how "awesome" does that sound! LOL!
So if you want to read a book that will get you teased by your buddies, this is it. As one friend said, "Did you pick the one with the lamest title on purpose?"

Is this worth READING ONCE:
Why Not?
