This is a very nice book about shapes, geared towards young children. It shows the shapes of everyday objects. For example triangle - boat sails, square - checkerboard, rectangle - flags, cylinder - soup cans. The sturdy pages have both pop-ups as well as tabs the child can push or pull to reveal more cool stuff.
