Book Review of Rainy Day Friends: A Novel

Rainy Day Friends: A Novel

Second in the series, but a stand alone book. When Lanie's husband of five years dies at an early age, she discovers he collected wives like some people collect change. She takes a temporary job as a media designer at a winery to get her life back on track and get away from the humiliation. What she doesn't anticipate, or think she wants, is the family that takes her as one of their own. When a young girls arrives on their doorstep, pregnant, and is given a job, the past comes back to stare her in the face and force her to confront her demons. Very good chick lit - some sexual content and language. Great summer read!
