This second installment in the Corine Solomon series kept me engaged throughout. I practically inhaled the book, and was finished far too soon.
I really enjoy the romantic aspects of the book, and the uncertainty over which man Corine will choose adds a nice spice to the story line. I was delighted that Corine's character develops in this book. Corine learns more about her mother's death and grows from her experiences.
The action is gripping with plenty of twists to the plot. I recommend reading the first book in this series before reading this one even though Ann Aguirre does a good job of filling in on past action. You'll get a better understanding of Corine's relationship with her ex, Chance.
