Excellent book. The premise is following one day of the year for 20 years between two people. They meet when they graduate from college. It shows the progression of the lives of Dexter and Em. That alone is an eye opener. Dexter acted like a spoiled child and was very into himself and didn't care too much for anyone, except Em, who was his best friend. When things went wrong, he would run to her. Em was always there and was trying to live her life with her ideals. She stumbled along, but she kept on moving forward. I thought it was confusing when the author went back and forth in time towards the end of the book. However, I would still recommend this book.
