Set during WWII, Sophie Heller's family faces prejudice from some town citizen's who believe the Heller's German ethnic background automatically makes them Nazi's. Cole Ambrose comes back to Victory to teach math at the high school, and champion's Sophie and her family. A nice love story, with a more contemporary setting for this author. Very good.
