This author has become one of my favorites! Her story pulls you in from page one and never lets up. It's a riveting family story as seen through the eyes of a 13 year old girl. It takes place mainly during one long summer, ending with a murder taking place in the attached apartment to their home. The girl, Nellie, becomes the eye witness and it's effect on her and her family is devastating. A must read!!
