Totally not how I was expecting the series to end, and it is possible the series will continue on with a spin off(not going to spoil how). But if you are thinking there is going to be some major super epic battle at the end.....not happening, and that was disappointing. Big time. The book moved slow in the beginning and some of the way they discovered things made me go...really? really? it was that easy? really? and other things just made me roll my eyes. Still a good book, just lacking in my opinion.
