Let me begin by saying John McPherson is sick.
His ideas are right on and do capture the "typical" high school experience, but his drawings are crazy. The people are all distorted, with small heads, bulgy eyes, gangly legs...bizarre. And so FUNNY! The way they look adds to the humor of this book.
The book is separated into sections dealing with classes, lunch, gym, etc. It's a funny read.
