Horrible! I usually love Jennifer Ashley and have read the entire MacKenzie series but this is just awful. Couldn't even finish. This book does not have the plot, the characters, or the great writing that we've come to expect from Jennifer Ashely. If I didn't see the copyright, I would think these books were by different authors. Really awful. I like paranormal romance but this is just not my cuppa. If you are looking at this book b/c you like Jennifer Ashely, not just for paranormal, save your credit. You will be so disappointed!
