Verity was very easily liked, she had a sharp sense of humor, and a mind that was curious but didnt go headlong into danger when she could help it.
BUT, throwing herself from roofs, bouncing off walls, running over rooftops, swinging from fire escapes, not quit believable. Well, there was the repetition. We were told several things repeatedly, and that got old really quickly. That was MY main grip so I skipped some of those parts.
The mice. I think a few more embarrassing moments with them would have been funnier than the quips, but I'm hopeful for future books.
Might not be everyones cup of urban fantasy tea.
