The Queen Betsy series is fabulously written in great detail...right down to the graphic sex scenes. I'm not very shy but she was able to make my jaw drop!
With less than 300 pages, the books are a light, easy read. They aren't met to be taken seriously, aren't incredibly deep, but have several laugh out loud moments and some that made me gasp in disbelief.
In Unappreciated, readers are introduced to Besty's "hell spawn" half sister. Laura is the devil's daughter that adopted by a Presbyterian minister. In an act of rebellion to her birth mother (the Devil), she rebels by being the perfect model citizen...a citizen that wields a vanishing sword of hellfire.
Before going crazy after reading the Book of the Dead, Betsy learns that Laura is destined to take over the world.
