I liked this series and I enjoy all of Lori Foster & L.L. Foster books. This is the first time I have encountered so many words that I didn't recognize. I don't feel that it was additive, but rather annoying. The 3rd book goes back to Ms. Fosters normal style of writing without all the grandious language.

Glad to know that I wasn't the only one who needed a dictionary/thesarus to get through the book.
