I am so glad that Maria Snyder is back to writing fantasy after her brief detour into sci-fi with her last two books. Fantasy is where she really shines. I loved Touch of Power; the book grabs your attention from the first page. The characters were very well developed and there were quite a few twists and turns. If you enjoyed the Study and Glass series you will certainly enjoy this new series. I am just sad that I have to wait a year to find out what happens next!
