It was a long book but a good one that kept me reading late into the night. There were parts that were difficult to read because of the subject matter, more so in the first portion of the book that focuses on Acheron's early life, but it gave you a greater apperciation and understanding of his personality and behaviors throughout all the other books. There were some moments in the second part that seemed a bit silly but I think the intensity and darkness of the first half contributed to that feeling. Some incidences required a bit more "suspension of disbelief" than othersin "part 2". But it was great to see a Happy ending for a favorite character.
