The basic storyline was ok, but the story itself just seemed to plod along.I found the h/h characters to be emotionless. Even one of the last scenes, a duel, which should have been fraught with tension & emotion, was bland. I yawned all the way through the book, & then wanted to kick myself for wasting time reading it.
