WHY this book was/is listed under murder mystery is beyond me and I really disliked it. It is ALL romance with a tiny bit of mystery thrown it. The storyline is nothing but who is dating who, who should be dating who, and it goes on and on and on. The main character, "M," is living in New York, striving to become a model, waiting for her "big break." It's ignored that she's signed up at several different modeling agencies and it goes without saying that if she was any good, she would be getting jobs, but none are coming in. She finally asks her landlady/friend to refer her to a couple photographer friends. After meeting one, he is "blown away" by her supposed beauty and wants to make her into the world's next super model. Yeah, right. And to top it off, she meets a movie star, "Larry," whom she fell in love with when she was 10-years old and immediately falls in love with him all over again, because, she "knows him." Again, yeah, right. Did I mention I really dislike romances?

If you are looking for an action, whodunnit, murder mystery, you will be sorely disappointed. If you're looking for a romance novel, you'll probably like this a lot.
