This was a quick read. Kind of like cotton candy for the brain. It reminds me a lot of Kay Hooper's "Bishop Files" books. Paranormal/romance. There's no great intellectual investment when reading (or I'd guess writing) these books, but for pure mindless escapism it's great. And since I'm a big fan of mindless escapism, I'll read more from the series.
