This book is more about the two Masters than Alex herself. Each character gets a "voice" in the book, but it seems like the story is primarily about how this committed (gay/bi) couple adapts to bringing another person into their relationship.

There was a lot more Story to this book than most of it's ilk, and for that I give the author a lot of credit. It was very erotic and I liked the story between the two men, their back-story, and how they, rather realistically, seemed to be feeling about the situation. Both experienced jealousy, as did Alex. I think that would be pretty likely.

I also felt sorry for the woman, Alex, in this story, who basically never got in on the action until the last chapter of the book. Honestly, she wasn't particularly likable anyhow, she was absolutely the least developed character in the story.

There is a sequel to this book, which I might read. I felt like the story ended abruptly. It had a resolution, but didn't really resolve the underlying issue - can you have this kind of relationship without love. It was mentioned over and over but never answered. I think it is answered in the next book and I am sure the publisher decided they could get twice as much money from suckers like me by dividing the book in two.
