"Sundays at Tiffany's" is a dramatic departure from the crime novels readers have come to expect from James Patterson. In fact, it's even unique amongst the very few romance novels he has written. It has a magical quality, an almost childlike wonder at times that perhaps may not be surprising considering it is co written with children's author, Gabrielle Charbonnet.
It's tale of a little girl and her imaginary friend falling in love. Jane is a lovely 32-year-old woman with an overbearing, highly critical mother and a handsome, insincere boyfriend. The best times of her life were indisputably spent with her beloved Michael...her imaginary childhood friend, who saved her from years of loneliness when her mother viewed her as simply an inconvenience. And although Michael has been gone from her life for the better part of 23 years, he has never been absent from her heart
I love a good, feel good, quick read every now and then and this definitely hit the spot.
