This book was an enjoyable read. I was quite shocked to find out that the hero was white. Not that I object to interracial romances but Kimani doesn't usually publish them and the cover doesn't give it away. Shondra Braddock is the daughter of a US Senator who mysteriously died. Shondra, still devastated by the father's death, goes undercover working at Stewart Industries in order to solve the mystery. She is convinced that there is a link between the company and her father's death. When Shondra meets the CEO, blonde and blue eyed Connor Stewart, sparks fly. Although Shondra's main goal is to uncover the mystery she finds herself falling for Connor. Although the story was interesting I feel that some of the heroine's attitudes about the hero were slightly strange. She acted as if he was an Alien rather than a man of a different race. In 2010 that seems a little wacky.
