This is the first book by this author that I have ever read but I doubt it will be the last. Amelia idolized Chris as a child and she is devastated when he goes away to school and is no longer there for her. Years pass and he returns and she is all grown up. The book contains some danger and it is through almost loosing Amelia that he realizes that he loves her as a man does a woman. It's a great read and I highly reccomend it.
