I was looking forward to reading this. I love P&P modern day fanfiction, but decided to give this little rewrite a try. The very first page puts Darcy and Bingley in bed together.. where they stay most of the book. After awhile, it becomes incredibly disturbing. Lizzy has lesbian encounters with Charlotte. Darcy and Wickham have a "romantic" past. Lydia is a whore.. literally. It completely breaks down any significant relationship or character premise from our beloved Jane Austen. I never finished the book. I flipped to the end to make sure Darcy and Lizzy got married... only to find a detailed account of their wedding night. Tasteless writing at its finest. I love a GOOD romance novel.. steamy scenes and all.. but this crossed so many lines.
