One of the best mysteries I've read in a long time.
An undertaker, Barry Clayton is the main character. He offers comfort to the bereaved, and help to the sheriff. He gets wounded at a graveside service, by a mentally ill man who wants Barry to go to heaven to give a message to the man's grandmother.
Kind of a combination of a cozy mystery and a traditional mystery.
