Enjoy a country house party in Regency England. Unbeknownst to each other, these two have decided secretly to find someone marry. Simon is rich, handsome, and eligible. He wants to choose without all fuss from the mothers of unmarried ladies. His sister's sister-in-law, Portia, has left it almost too late. The beautiful bluestocking has been so busy with her own concerns that she doesn't even know what qualifies make for an excellent husband. She decides to watch, learn, and experiment during this house party. They're both shocked at the thread of awareness that draws them together after all these years. Add in a mystery and the fact that Portia may be next, and you have a delicious story with a bumblebroth of scandal as well.
