This book gets a bit close to some of this could become real. Like how you feel when reading Handmaid's Tale in 2002 or Onyx and Crake in 2010. For me it was not like Celeste Ng's other books, in that I struggled more to stay engaged at times and it was more challenging to follow, but I found it thought provoking and made connections to our current systems and practices. Overall, I am so glad I read this book, like all of her books.
