It's kinda cute. The illustrations are cute, but not very useful (they aren't really good for showing the underwear being discussed). The question's are more like cute chapter headings.
Beyond the illustrations being needed but insufficient, there is a definite bias (surprising for being written by a woman). It reads like the author wrote the history of men's underwear and then went back and tacked in a page here and there about women. (So women's bras got all summarized on one page, rather than throughout history the way men's underclothing did).
