This is a full reprint of a 30s pulp story starring The Spider, another cloaked crime fighter who gunned down gangsters and super criminals with his 45 automatics. The original black and white illusions are included along with a preface and a small article commentary by a contemporary author. These pulp adventures are very much like the comic book/radio heroes they inspired. They are old fashioned and pretty straight forward shoot me
Ups with a few twists along the way. In the Spider stories he often faced villans who would kill thousands with super weapons...such as the villain does in this story as he sabotages New Yorks skyscrapers, ships and bridges...into the chaos come the vigilante hero The Spider...who will not rest till the villans are dead!
