READ THIS SERIES!
Dakota Frost is one of my absolute FAVORITE female characters in UF. She is intelligent, strong, and has a generous spirit and heart. The world that Mr. Francis has created just gets better and better. And Cinnamon....she is such a unique character.
The Fireweavers have a major role in this book. Their magic is somewhat similar to Skindancer magic. Dakota falls for Princess Jewel of the Fireweavers. She also realizes some things about herself in the process.
The action in this book was amazing. I could almost see the martial arts moves. But, even though the story centers around the fireweavers, the vamps, werekin, fae, and wizards each have pivotal parts in the story. The dragons, however, are the stars of the show.
The wait was worth it. I just hope future books in this series don't take quite so long to get to us.
